How Much RAM Does a Better Fantasy - Magic RPG Adventure Server Need?
Better Fantasy - Magic RPG Adventure is a Vanilla+ medieval fantasy pack for Forge 1.20.1 — see the Better Fantasy - Magic RPG Adventure pack page for the full mod list — and its RAM needs sit closer to a light Vanilla+ pack than a heavy magic-overhaul pack, since Origins classes, magic progression, and quests layer onto the base game rather than replacing it. Svenska spelare: Hyra Minecraft-server täcker samma hosting på svenska.
4 GB
Bare minimum for solo or a duo exploring together — expect tighter headroom once Origins class abilities, magic effects, and boss fights are active at the same time.
5 GB
CoalHost's recommended starting point for Better Fantasy - Magic RPG Adventure — covers the Forge 1.20.1 base plus Origins, magic progression, and quest systems for a small group.
8 GB
A safer tier for a mid-size active group (roughly 4-8 players) regularly fighting bosses and exploring the pack's new structures.
12 GB
For 10+ players or a world that's been running long enough to accumulate a lot of explored terrain, quest progress, and Origin-related data.
