How Much RAM Does a Project Ozone Lite Server Need?

Project Ozone Lite trims the modcount to roughly half of its bigger sibling, Project Ozone 3, while keeping the same void-skyblock progression DNA — see the Project Ozone Lite pack page for the full details. That lighter build is exactly why its RAM needs scale differently than PO3's, and the tiers below reflect that. Finnish players: Minecraft-palvelin hosting is our native-language page. German players: Minecraft-Server mieten covers the same hosting auf Deutsch. Svenska spelare: Hyra Minecraft-server täcker samma hosting på svenska.

4 GB

Bare minimum for solo play or a tiny group of one or two. Works for Project Ozone Lite's trimmed-down modcount, but leaves little headroom once automation and resource chicken/cow systems ramp up.

6 GB

The best starting point for most Project Ozone Lite servers. This matches the pack's own recommended RAM floor and comfortably handles a small group working through the early skyblock progression.

8 GB

Safer for a mid-size, active group running multiple automation setups and exploring further into the mod stack at once.

12 GB

Recommended for 10+ players or a long-running world with a lot of built-up automation and chunk activity across the skyblock islands.
