How Much RAM Does an Integrated MC Server Need?

Integrated MC is a dungeon-busting Forge 1.20.1 pack where every mod's systems connect through cross-mod recipes and quests — see the Integrated MC pack page for the full feature breakdown. That deep interplay between mods, rather than DawnCraft-style raw mod count, is what sets its RAM needs apart, and the tiers below reflect that. Finnish players: Minecraft-palvelin hosting is our native-language page. German players: Minecraft-Server mieten covers the same hosting auf Deutsch. Svenska spelare: Hyra Minecraft-server täcker samma hosting på svenska.

5 GB

Bare minimum for solo play or a tiny two-player group. It's enough to boot Integrated MC's Forge 1.20.1 base and explore early dungeons, but the cross-mod recipe and quest system that defines this pack leaves little headroom, so expect slower chunk loading around busier dungeon rooms.

7 GB

The best starting point for most Integrated MC servers. This covers the pack's dungeon generation and the overhead of its cross-mod recipe/quest linking comfortably for a small-to-medium group without you having to babysit memory.

10 GB

Safer for a mid-size active group running multiple dungeons and quest chains in parallel. Gives real breathing room before quest or recipe lookups start competing with world generation for memory.

14 GB

For 10+ players or a long-running world with a large explored area. At this scale the integrated quest and loot data across mods adds up alongside normal chunk and entity load, and extra RAM keeps that from ever becoming the bottleneck.
