How to Host a Create Live 6 Server
Create Live 6 is the sixth and latest entry in the Create Live series, rebuilt on NeoForge 1.21.1 with the most current Create version and addons. The quest book walks players through Create's mechanics step by step, so a clean first boot matters more here than in a lot of modpacks — a shaky startup can leave that progression broken before anyone even starts building.
Start with at least 6 GB of RAM. That's the recommended floor for Create Live 6, which runs the current Create version and its addons on NeoForge 1.21.1 — don't go lower just because an older Create pack ran fine on less.
Import Create Live 6 directly from the modpack catalog instead of uploading a client export. A clean import pulls the correct NeoForge version and mod set without the leftover client-side files or mismatched configs that come from copying a local install.
Watch the server log through the first full boot. Create Live 6's quest book and Create's kinetic systems register a lot on startup — let it finish loading completely and confirm no mods failed before you consider it ready.
Only invite players once that first boot has completed cleanly. Starting in the middle of a shaky boot is how players end up with broken quest progress or half-loaded Create machinery on their very first join.
Take a backup before importing a world, updating NeoForge or Create, or changing configs. If a contraption-heavy build or quest book progress gets corrupted mid-update, a backup is the only way to get that progress back.
Use a cleaner Create Live 6 path
CoalHost is built around modpack hosting, which makes Create Live 6 much less annoying to launch correctly.
