How to Host an ATM7 Server

All the Mods 7 is the Forge 1.18.2 entry in the ATM line, sitting between ATM6 and ATM8 with the same kitchen-sink breadth and an ATM Stars grind driving the end game. This is the standard ground-start overworld pack, not ATM7: To the Sky's void-island skyblock variant, so the steps below assume a normal overworld spawn. Hosting it cleanly comes down to the obvious things done in the right order: enough RAM, a proper modpack flow, a clean first boot and backups before you get adventurous with the world.

1

Start with 8 GB unless this is a very small server — ATM7's own recommended floor, not a generic guess.

2

Use a proper modpack import flow instead of guessing from a client export.

3

Watch the first boot logs until every mod finishes loading cleanly — ATM7's kitchen-sink mod list and ATM Star progression systems both need to initialize before the world is actually stable.

4

Invite players only after the first clean startup.

5

Take a backup before world imports, Forge updates or config changes — losing a world here means losing real ATM Star grind progress, not just a few buildings.

Use a cleaner All the Mods 7 (ATM7) path

CoalHost is built around modpack hosting, which makes All the Mods 7 (ATM7) much less annoying to launch correctly.
