How to Host an Epic Jujutsu Server
Epic Jujutsu is a Forge 1.20.1 combat pack combining JujutsucraftMod's cursed techniques and sorcerer classes with Epic Fight's full-motion combat system, bringing Jujutsu Kaisen's fighting style into Minecraft PvP and adventure content. Hosting it well mostly comes down to sizing RAM for two active combat systems and letting the first boot finish before anyone fights.
Start with 5 GB of RAM as your floor — JujutsucraftMod's cursed technique systems and Epic Fight's full-motion combat engine both run continuously during fights, adding more overhead than a typical combat-themed Forge pack.
Import the official Epic Jujutsu modpack from the server panel rather than rebuilding it by hand — JujutsucraftMod and Epic Fight need to load in the right order with matching configs, or cursed technique animations and hit detection break.
Let the first boot finish cleanly before doing anything else — both mods register a lot of combat and ability-tree data on first start, and interrupting that process leaves abilities half-registered.
Hold off on PvP sessions until that first clean boot is confirmed — fighting on a server that hasn't finished initializing produces inconsistent hit detection.
Back up before any mod update — Epic Fight and JujutsucraftMod both update their combat systems periodically, and a bad update can break unlocked abilities server-wide.
Use a cleaner Epic Jujutsu path
CoalHost is built around modpack hosting, which makes Epic Jujutsu much less annoying to launch correctly.
