How to Host an Evil Hunter & Twixxel's Stalker Server
Evil Hunter & Twixxel's Stalker is a psychological horror modpack for Forge 1.20.1 built around two separate stalker mods running at once — Evil Hunter by Dreglr and Twixxel's Stalker by MrPerkasc. Each adds its own hostile entity with its own hunting behaviour and sound design, and getting both running cleanly from the first boot matters more here than on a typical survival pack.
Start the server on at least 4 GB of RAM. That's the floor this pack actually needs on Forge 1.20.1 — it's not a third-party guess, it's what's required to keep both stalker mods' entity tracking and sound systems running smoothly alongside normal Forge overhead.
Import the modpack as a clean .zip or server pack instead of trying to rebuild it mod-by-mod from a client export. Evil Hunter and Twixxel's Stalker both ship their own config files, and a manual rebuild is the most common way one of them silently ends up missing or misconfigured.
Watch the console through the full first boot. Because you're running two independent stalker AI systems side by side, you want to see both mods initialize without errors before anyone logs in — a missing dependency on either one usually throws during world load, not later during gameplay.
Only invite players once the world has finished loading cleanly and the server has been idle-ticking without errors for a few minutes. Horror pacing depends on the stalkers behaving as designed; a shaky first boot is the wrong time for someone's first encounter.
Take a backup before importing an existing world, updating either mod, or changing stalker-related configs. If a stalker's spawn or behavior settings get corrupted mid-edit, you can lose a world's worth of tension-building progress with no way to roll it back.

CoalHost is built around modpack hosting, which makes Evil Hunter & Twixxel's Stalker much less annoying to launch correctly.
