Lightest marks the pack with the lowest measured RAM floor, and cheapest the lowest estimated monthly cost — but the right pick is the pack you actually want to play that still fits your budget and player count. Every number here was measured on a fresh Hetzner VM running the exact install a customer gets, not lifted from a pack’s recommended-RAM page. Player count pushes the RAM higher, so check a single pack in the RAM checker before you commit.

The numbers that actually decide your monthly bill and stability are the real RAM floor, the Minecraft version and loader, and how crash-prone the pack is out of the box. This tool lines those up side by side from real boot tests, so you're comparing measured behaviour, not marketing.
Where do the RAM and price numbers come from?
The RAM floor is the smallest container that actually booted each pack on a fresh dedicated server. The price is our estimate at that RAM. Both update automatically as we test more packs.
What does "crash fixes baked in" mean?
When a pack crashed a dedicated server during testing, we found the mod responsible and encoded the fix into the install. That count is how many such fixes apply before your server first boots — a higher number usually means a pack that's fiddly to self-host but painless on ours.
