How Much RAM Does a DREAD Server Need?
Unlike most RAM guides that estimate from singleplayer requirements, this number comes from an actual dedicated-server boot test: 8 GB is the confirmed floor for DREAD — see the DREAD pack page for more. Finnish players: Minecraft-palvelin hosting is our native-language page. German players: Minecraft-Server mieten covers the same hosting auf Deutsch. Svenska spelare: Hyra Minecraft-server täcker samma hosting på svenska.
8 GB
The confirmed floor — this is the real minimum from a dedicated-server boot test, not a guess.
10 GB
Safer margin for a small group playing together instead of solo.
12 GB
Best for a longer-running world or a few more players exploring at once.
