How Much RAM Does an All of Fabric 5 (AOF5) Server Need?
All of Fabric 5 (AOF5) is a well-maintained Fabric kitchen-sink for Minecraft 1.18.2, covering tech (Modern Industrialization), magic (Botania, Ars Nouveau), and exploration mods side by side — see the All of Fabric 5 (AOF5) pack page for the full mod list. Its own recommended floor is 7 GB, and that number holds up once several of those mod systems are running at the same time. Finnish players: Minecraft-palvelin hosting is our native-language page. German players: Minecraft-Server mieten covers the same hosting auf Deutsch. Svenska spelare: Hyra Minecraft-server täcker samma hosting på svenska.
5 GB
Bare minimum. Workable for solo play or a duo testing the pack, but tight once Modern Industrialization, Botania, and Ars Nouveau are all running loaded chunks at the same time.
7 GB
Best starting point for most servers — this matches AOF5's own recommended RAM floor and gives its tech, magic, and exploration mods headroom to coexist without constant garbage-collection pauses.
10 GB
Safer for a mid-size active group. Gives more breathing room once several players are running automated factories and magic rituals in different parts of the world at once.
14 GB
For 10+ players or a long-running world. Keeps performance stable as explored terrain, loaded tile entities, and player-built tech/magic bases accumulate over weeks of play.
