How to Host an All of Fabric 5 (AOF5) Server
All of Fabric 5 (AOF5) is a well-maintained Fabric kitchen-sink for Minecraft 1.18.2, built in the same niche as All the Mods but running on Fabric instead of Forge. It covers tech (Modern Industrialization), magic (Botania, Ars Nouveau), and exploration mods side by side, with light quest guidance and a community-tested mod selection. Getting the server boot right matters more than usual here, since several heavy mod systems have to initialize cleanly together before the world is stable.
All of Fabric 5 needs at least 7 GB of RAM allocated before you even add players — that's AOF5's own recommended floor for its Fabric 1.18.2 mod list (Modern Industrialization, Botania, Ars Nouveau, and the rest of the kitchen-sink coverage). Start your plan there, not lower.
Import the modpack from its official 1.18.2 Fabric server files instead of re-zipping a client install. AOF5 is the older release in the All of Fabric series — All of Fabric 7 runs on 1.20.1 — so if you specifically want the 1.18.2 mod lineup, make sure you grab the AOF5 server pack and not AOF7's.
Watch the console through first boot. Fabric needs to finish resolving every mod dependency, and Modern Industrialization, Botania, and Ars Nouveau each need to register their blocks and recipes before the world is stable. Don't move on until the log settles with no repeating errors and the server reaches 'Done'.
Only invite players once that first startup has completed cleanly end to end. Loading a group into a world that's still mid-registration is the fastest way to corrupt chunk data on a pack with this many interacting systems.
Take a backup before importing an existing world, updating the Fabric loader, or editing any mod configs. AOF5's mixed tech, magic, and exploration mod set means a bad update can just as easily wipe Botania mana pools, Ars Nouveau ritual progress, or a Modern Industrialization factory line — back up before you touch any of it.

CoalHost is built around modpack hosting, which makes All of Fabric 5 (AOF5) much less annoying to launch correctly.
