How much RAM does a Valheim server need?
Vanilla Valheim with 1–4 players runs on 2–4 GB. After Mistlands and Ashlands updates, world generation and entity load increased significantly — most groups want 6 GB. Modded Valheim (Valheim Plus, Epic Loot, expanded biomes) wants 8 GB+.
Do you support Valheim mods (BepInEx, Valheim Plus)?
Yes. Click the BepInEx install button when creating your server and it deploys with BepInEx + a config preset. Drop any Thunderstore mod into the file manager and restart.
Can I import my local Valheim world?
Yes. Upload the .db and .fwl files from your local %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds folder via the file manager, then select that world in settings.
How many players can join my Valheim server?
Up to 10 players officially supported. Some mods raise the limit further. CoalHost has no per-slot surcharge for Valheim.
Why does my Valheim server slow down over time?
Valheim has a known slow memory leak. We recommend a daily auto-restart (configurable in the scheduler) — it takes 30 seconds and keeps the server snappy.
